Colour Blocking!

Hey Guys,

How bold can you go with Colours? If you adore colours like I do, then this post is for you!

I know you all know that the NOW thing in fashion, is the whole Colour Block crase...but before I go further, I'd explain as simply as I can...

What is Colour Blocking?

Colour Blocking is simply strategically placed, contrasting, yet complimentary bold and bright colours paired together to create a unique look.

I'm quite excited by this trend because I absolutely love colours!

But before running riot, There are quite a few ways to play with this trend, and there are some basic principles to understand about Colour Blocking...

* Play up to three colours for an ideal combination.
* The best way to ground your outfit is by using a neutral Colour as base. The neutral Colour can be black, grey, white, navy or brown!
* Choose a bold or neon color as separates to spice up the outfit! It can be a bold jacket, Purse or even accessory!

One thing I'd say is, this trend definitely isn't for the wall flower! It is for the DivaNista that loves to be noticed!

For ideal and modern Colour pairing, these are my suggestions...
* Cobalt blue, Yellow and Orange
* Chocolate brown, Pink and Peach
* Purple, Bright blue and Teal
* Royal blue, Hot pink and White
* Coral, Grey and Ivory

The List goes on...

Then again, Colour Blocking is more than just rocking colours. This trend can also be used to enhance and play up to your curves. Use a neutral shade to minimize the parts you want to downplay, and Use the bold colours to play up your best bits!

Do not forget! It's Not only about clothes. You can Colour Block with ur shoes, purses, necklaces! Etc!
